Dark Mode, Dark Mode and Dark Mode everywhere! Dark Mode is being incorporated in many apps in the recent times, even we have the Dark Mode in Android ROMs and also we are eagerly waiting for a release of system-wide dark mode for iPhone with iOS 13. In the row, Facebook Messenger has also joined the dark mode war. Recently, they have rolled out an update which enables dark mode in their messenger app. The feature was rolled out to both iOS and Android platforms.
So, if you are interested in using dark mode on Facebook Messenger for Android or iOS, follow the below steps. Please note that you have the latest version of the Facebook Messenger from Play Store or App Store. Also, this is not applicable for Messenger Lite App on Android.
How To Enable Dark Mode in Facebook Messenger (Android & iOS):
Step 1: Launch Facebook Messenger on your Android or iOS device.
Step 2: Tap on the profile icon located on the top left corner.
Step 3: Now under your name, there will be an option to enable/disable Dark Mode. Just slide the button to enable/disable the Dark Mode on Messenger.
