Wi-Fi Calling feature is the talk of the town for the past few days. Telecom Networks Reliance Jio and Airtel started rolling out this feature at free of cost in India. With this feature, call quality and coverage can be better even in indoor.
Both the companies have listed the supported smartphones for this feature. In which, 8 of the Xiaomi smartphones were supporting this feature without any tweaks and additional software. Many of the users were asking about how to enable this feature and here are the detailed steps to Enable Wi-Fi calling in Xiaomi Smartphones.
How To Enable Wi-Fi calling in Xiaomi Smartphones / MIUI:
Step 1: Open Settings and then Go to SIM cards & mobile networks.
Step 2: Now Choose the Network operator in which you want to enable this feature (SIM 1 or SIM 2), in my case its Jio.
Step 3: Inside the Operator Menu, there is an option called Make Calls using Wi-Fi under WI-FI CALLS. Just enable the option and that’s it.
You can now make calls using Wi-Fi now. Whenever Wi-Fi Calling is available you will see a symbol near to the WiFi and also the symbol during the call as shown in the screenshot below.
