Xiaomi India confirmed the official launch date for Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones in India. A few weeks back, Xiaomi India CEO confirmed that the new Redmi Note 8 series will be launched in India within 8 weeks period from the China launch. As promised Xiaomi India is now launching the devices in India.
Today, the company has launched the budget smartphone of the 8 Series – the Redmi 8 in India. Along with the new device, there was a surprise for the Mi fans and it is the announcement of the Note 8 Series launch. Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones are launching in India by next week.
Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro India Launch Date:
October 16th is the official launch date for the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones in India as confirmed by Redmi India team via their official tweet. #64MPQuadCamBeast is the hashtag being used for the launch.

According to the China launch,
Redmi Note 8 Pro features 6.53-inch Full HD+ teardrop display, MediaTek helio G90T processor, 4500 mAh battery, quad-camera setup with Samsung’s 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor as the primary camera lens.
Whereas,
Redmi Note 8 features 6.3-inch LTPS LCD display, Snapdragon 665 processor, 4000 mAh battery, quad-camera setup with 48MP primary sensor (which is used in Redmi Note 7 Pro).
