Send WhatsApp Message Without Saving the Contact Number

WhatsApp users as you were aware that to send a message to a person in WhatsApp, first the phone number of the receiver has to be saved in your contact and then only it will be appeared in the contact list of the WhatsApp to start sending the message.

Are you bored/tired of saving the contact numbers of neighbours, shops and unknown persons for sending one-time messages?

Here is a tip for you to send WhatsApp messages without saving the contact number. Also, the good part is there is no additional software or apps to be installed to achieve the same.

With this tip, you can send messages to unsaved contacts anytime and it is not mandatory to save numbers.

How To Send WhatsApp Message Without Saving the Contact Number:

Step 1: Open browser in your smartphone

Step 2: Type the following link in the address bar:

https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=YYXXXXXXXXX
(Replace the Y with country  code and X with the phone number of the person you want to send messages, You can add country code with or without + both will work.)

Example:

https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=+911234567890 (where +91 is the country code followed by the mobile number)

https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=911234567890

Step 3: Once the URL is loaded, a WhatsApp page will display with a Message Button as below.

Step 4: Tap on Message, immediately it will open a chat window to that number in your WhatsApp and you can start sending messages without saving the contact number.

Also, you try the same in your computer, it will prompt to send messages via WhatsApp Desktop app if installed.
