Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) was released on April 23rd, 2020. Within not more than 2 days, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Subsystem is now available for Windows 10 via Microsoft Store. If you remember, Ubuntu Subsystem was included in Windows, which made easier for users to access both environments simultaneously without having a dual operating system and switching it often.
As per the news, the upcoming windows update is expected to add Linux filesystem as well to windows, to make the Linux experience on windows more friendly and convenient.

Before downloading make sure the Windows Subsystem for Linux was enabled under Turn Windows features on or off menu.
Step 1: Download Ubuntu 20.04 LTS app from Microsoft Store and install it on your computer.
Once installed, you can set the admin user and password and start using the Linux environment under your Windows operating system.
