First Logo of Apple Inc.

Did you know how the first logo of the world-famous company Apple looks? What shape it is and who designed the first logo for Apple Computer?

Ron Wayne designed the first logo of Apple Computer and it featured Sir Isaac Newton sitting under an Apple tree.

Ron Wayne is one of the co-founders of Apple Computer, but after 12 days of starting the company, he sold his 10% share of the company to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak for $800 (USD) and left the company. After One Year he was paid with $1500 (USD) as a final settlement so that he can’t have any rights over the company. So the total amount paid to him was $2300.

The first logo was used by the company for nearly 1 year from 1976 to 1977 and it was replaced by the rainbow coloured Apple Bite Shape Logo in 1977 designed by Rob Janoff.
