Why Only Apple Users Are Getting the Tim Apple (Logo) On Twitter

During the White House meeting held on Thursday, US President Donald Trump referred the Apple CEO as Tim Apple instead of Tim Cook, the same was going viral on the social media.

Now Tim Cook is using the Apple logo next to his first name on Twitter to reflect Trump’s mistake. But, the Apple logo next to his first name was visible only to Apple device owners and here is the reason.

Apple emoticon isn’t classified as a Unicode symbol, hence the logo is visible only on Apple devices like iPhones, iPads and Macs.

Hence, on the non-Apple devices like Android, Windows, Linux the Apple logo is missing and instead, you will see some gibberish characters.
