Google has rolled out a new feature in their search which allows you to Play Podcasts from Google search results on the browser itself. Google has announced a lot of features in its IO 2019 event last week. Now, they have started rolling out the new features for everyone.
The new feature is already rolled out and it is available on the google search page.
How To Play Podcasts From Google Search Results:
Step 1: Search for your favourite podcast in the Google Search on your browser.
Step 2: The search results page will return the latest 3 episodes of the podcasts with a play button and link to the other episodes as well.

Step 3: Just click on the play button near to the episodes to start listening to it. Once the play button is clicked, the corresponding podcast episode page will open and it will start playing the podcast.
On the play page, you have the controls to Play/Pause, fast forward, backward, speed up controls as well.
This new update will work not only on desktops but also on mobile browsers. This feature will be useful for iOS users, as the Google Podcasts official app was not available on iOS yet.
