How To Start Google Chrome In INCOGNITO Mode By Default

Incognito Mode or Private Browsing is an option embedded in all the browsers to protect our privacy. Browsing through private mode will be more useful when you are browsing from friends computer, internet cafe, schools, colleges, etc., Though private browsing mode will not provide you with the complete privacy, but it has the ability to prevent your browsing history, cookies, searches, site data and other private information you have entered in forms.

Every browser available on the internet now has this option, but to get into that mode, you have to open the browser and then open a new incognito tab. If you prefer to browse in private mode always, then here is the step by step guide to starting the Google Chrome browser in Incognito Mode by Default.

What happens when you browse privately in Chrome:

  • Chrome won’t save your browsing history, cookies and site data, or information entered in forms.
  • Files you download and bookmarks you create will be kept.
  • Your activity isn’t hidden from websites you visit, your employer or school, or your internet service provider.
